Do you remember these top 5 fastest IPL centuries hitted by Indians??

Hey readers, another welcome to an another article regarding the world's hardest and largest domestic cricket league.

IPL is one of the stages where every player (national, international or even uncapped) shows their heroism which compelled everyone to watch them with a hopeful vision in the coming future. It has given us many jaw dropping events and tons of ashtonishing moments but how someone can forget about those mind blowing innings which turned into the fastest and greatest Indian centuries in the history of IPL cricket.

Here we are going to talk about The Top 5 Fastest Centuries hitted by only Indian players. So, lets get started:

   5. Virender Sehwag (48 balls - 4x13, 6x6)

Sehwag on his century against Deccan Chargers

It's the Viru Paaji who gained 5th spot in this ranking.

Sehwag played a tremendous innings of 119 runs in 46th match of IPL 2011 against Deccan Chargers. In a challenging target of 176, he opened with Aaron Finch but Finch lose his wicket on a duck. Pitch was also challenging, however Delhi lose their first 3 wickets on a mere 25 runs in powerplay but Sehwag used both his strength and experience to make the match one sider for Delhi.

Delhi Daredevils won that match by 4 wickets.

   4. Virat Kohli (47 balls - 4x12, 6x8)

Virat celebrating his century against KXIP

It's the turn of our current Indian national team captain.

It was the 50th match of IPL 2016 at Chinnaswamy stadium against KXIP when rain had vanished the 20-20 match to a 15-15 match, RCB has to bat, but the openers Gayle and Virat had some unusual intentions. They gave RCB a great start, the run rate never came below 10 and increasing dramatically. There comes a mindblowing 113 runs from the skipper making his highest individual score in IPL which settled RCB at a disastrous total of 211 in just 15 overs.

RCB won that match with a delightful margin of 82 runs.

   3. Murali Vijay (46 balls - 4x8, 6x11)

Here comes the Chennaiyan who smashed 127 runs against Rajasthan Royals at Chidambaram stadium in the 32nd match of 2010 IPL.

After having a decent start the CSK opener was about to blast the every ball he facing. He was making good connections, after all he was in great form and subsequently becomes out of control of the RR bowlers. By playing that spellbounded innings, he also help CSK to reach the highest total of the IPL ever of 246 at that times.

Rajasthan Royals also scored an honourable total but still lose with a margin of 23 runs.

   2. Mayank Agarwal (45 balls - 4x10, 6x7)

Mayank on his century against RR

Now, its the turn of the Punjabi batsman Mayank Agarwal who played a smart innings of 106 against Rajasthan Royals at Sharjah Cricket stadium in 9th match of IPL 2020.

After having a steady start with KL Rahul, he played naturally in his strong zones and not left any vicious ball unpunished. However, he got out in 17th over otherwise could go more apart in the score but essentially contributed in KXIP's giagantic 223 runs to be scored on the board.

Later on, Rajasthan played very well and due to the Samson's and Tewatia's heroics, KXIP lost the match by 4 wickets.

   1. Yusuf Pathan (37 balls - 4x9, 6x8)

Yusuf after scoring a cracking hundred

The top spot in this rankings is currently grabbed by Yusuf Pathan becoming the fastest Indian to score a ton in an inning and honourably the 2nd spot in overall IPL fastest hundred followed by Universe boss 'Chris Gayle'.

The powerful-Pathan smashed a kindless 100 runs in the 2nd match of 2010 edition of IPL in a high pressure run chase against Mumbai Indians. After MI's brilliant innings of 212, Rajasthan Royals needed a quick start but unfortunately, 3 wickets were fallen in powerplay itself and subsequently it becomes 66/4. The hopes for RR were almost gone, but then the thirsty Pathan showed his strength among the audience and hitted a monstrous 100 in just 37 balls.

Still RR compelled to taste a mere 4 runs defeat after Pathan's selfless contribution.

So, these are the fastest Indian tonners of overall IPL.

HOPE you liked it!

THANKS for giving here your precious time...

HAVE A NICE DAY!!
